We Are Our Stories

Process
Each Tellography starts with an intake meeting to define your desired areas of focus and gather some basic biographical scaffolding. You will receive a production flow and timeline for your Tellography which includes key milestones for your review and approval. The production process looks like this:
It's Easy!
Gathering the Words
I assemble an interview structure and compendium of questions uniquely designed to you and your project. You are always in control of where the conversation takes us. If a question just doesn't appeal, skip it. If some questions take you on a tangent, go with it. Along the way, you may even come up with questions of your own that you would like to explore. It’s all fair game.

We can explore any form of communication that feels comfortable to you. If you prefer to write, you can send handwritten or typed copy. I can interview you in person or via live chat or we can get friends and family involved in the question and answer process. It’s all up to you.
Gathering the Images
The process for gathering images for your Tellography will vary with the needs of the project and the source of the assets. We can work with any type of asset you want to include in your story - photographs, documents, memorabilia, mementos, etc. Video can be linked via a VR code. If your assets are already digitized you can send them to us directly or we can help you get everything “book ready.”

Design and Publication
Once we have your assets in hand, our design and publishing teams assemble your assets into your Tellography. We will lightly edit your copy to remove any “uhms” or typos, but keep 100% of your voice. Then everything gets laid out, copy proofed and quality tested before…drumroll…we go to print!
